Poker Run
!!! 2007 DRYL
Poker Run !!!
Thanks to those that came out and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. I know
there were at least 5 very very HAPPY people that enjoyed themselves ( the 5
winners ) !!! :)
I want to give thanks to my wife Mary, Brian & Colleen Sproul & Fred
Saunders for their help in pulling this event off again. Mary & I
worked the Bristol YC starting point and want to thank Doc Harry, his
beautiful wife Bonnie and her kitchen help as they cooked in a hot kitchen and
served the 173 players who started at Bristol. I also want to thank the
other 2 starting point clubs Farragut SA which had 81 players start there, and
West End BC who had 49 players start there. Also, lets not forget, the
stop clubs Penna. YC, Quaker City YC, Wissinoming YC, Bridesburg OBC,
Harbor Light YC, Riverside YC, and Raccoon Creek BC for all their help again
this year. These clubs all come through for us and make this day
what it is..... a very enjoyable day on the river where we get to visit some
wonderful clubs, and the chance to meet some good people along the way, and
hopefully make some new friends which will lead to long relationships on the
river between the members and the clubs !!
So again, thanks to everyone who came out and kudos to the hosting clubs!!!
