OPENING:
Pres.Jusino opened the meeting at 2010 hours with the pledge of allegiance to the flag. The League was welcomed to RDCC by Comm. Bob Medeiros.Roll call of officers and committee heads

Officer Reports: President Jusino
mentioned the combined DRYL/CBYCA meeting held in May. He expressed his appreciation for the attendance of Rep. Mike McGeehn. Rep McGeehn spoke briefly concerning the green way/rails to trails project and "indicated that no established yacht club in his district would be effected by this project." He also indicated that PA State Senator M. Stack is in agreement with his position. A letter of appreciation will be sent to Rep. M. McGeehn.Secretary Garwood
mentioned that fruit baskets have been sent to both Barrie Borman and Frank McAfee. The Secretary spoke with Frank and he expressed his appreciation for this expression of the League's hope for his recovery, he also spoke with Connie Borman who also expressed her appreciation for the League's thoughts concerning Barrie's recovery.Audit and Budget

The 2007 banquet will be held at Cannstatters on Feb. 24th.Boater Voter Coalition
: C.B.Y.C.A: Jerry Donofrio mentioned that the group is opposed to the proposed LNG facility at Sparrows Point. Spoke with the MD. financial Board and learned that no LNG facility can be built closer than 2 miles to a residential area. Also, meeting @ Crescent City YC, May 22nd will vote on proxy voting for the future.Cruise:

: Harry (Doc) Borgersen mentioned that the average life span for males is 77.6 yoa, a key for longevity is cutting calories. So far the Avian flu will be coming to the US as birds migrtate.Marine 1,egislation, National(NBF):

Jerry Donofrio reporting –Pennsylvania Boating Assoc./PBA(se): Nine boating related deaths were recorded in the Commonwealth; the number of citations written was mentioned; including 58 DUIs; 328 rescues were accomplished. New F&B commisioners are needed, F&B Comm. grant $s are available.

June Donofrio reporting. June reported that payment is needed from a dozen or so ad takers, list in Minute Folder, several member clubs have not yet submitted pages for the year book list in Minute Folder. A break down of the year book activities are available for interested persons, a year book chair person(s) is needed.

NEW--- BUSINESS
Bill Garwood reported that, according to Mrs. Connie Borman who works for the Tacony Palymra Bridge Commission, there will be a celebration for the 75th year of Burlington Bridge operation. An invitation will be sent to member clubs of the League inviting them to attend an on shore celebration and/or the boat parade which will begin at the Red Dragon CC water front. More details to follow.
A motion was made and seconded to provide funds to the Del. River Sailing School for use as scholarship funds. A discussion followed and an amendment was made to increase this amout to include two students. The membership wanted more information concerning the funding. The motion was tabled.
A motion was made, seconded and approved to develop an award for the " marina of the year."
A motion was made, seconded and approved to pay yearbook costs and provide a deposit for the cruise.
