BEST BACON CHEESEBURGER DELUXE ON THE RIVER !!!

If you are in the Essington, Pa., area during the week around lunch time you have to stop in at Riverside YC and see Jacki – She is the bartender during the week as well as the cook. She prepares lunches for the members and guests during the week. You CAN NOT beat the prices and I have to say you cannot get a better Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe ANYWHERE !!! ( well except for mine that is ) LOL It is one of those burgers that you have to eat it sideways as it is just too dam big to get your mouth around, over or onto. I have had a couple on different occasions and when Mary & I stopped in yesterday for lunch I treated myself to another – it was just fantastic. She also does a MEAN meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans on Friday ( Mary’s favortite ) – however you better get there early as it goes quick.

Jacki usually does the buffet for the Officers on their Opening & Closing Days and she has the knack for good cooking and presentation! She always puts out great finger foods and dishes for the Offices to enjoy.

It is a pity that she does not work on the week-ends as her cooking can WOW the hell out of you – week-end boaters are missing out !

If anyone knows of a better Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe – let me know – but it will be pretty hard to beat – ya never know, we might have another Annual Event - LOL - DRYL Bacon Chesseburger Deluxe Cook-Off !! We could do a Chili Cook-off the same day. Either way, I would like to volunteer my services as a judge for any DRYL Club Cook -Off !! - Juice
